If you look out from the school you can see the Lilooet Lake.
The people are skilled hunters and fishers and the students at the school
are taught these skills as a part of their traditional learning.
The students at Xit'olacw dance and sing and drum - they are taught by the
teachers and the Elders in the community.
They are taught to make their own drums at school.
The First Nation artists teach students to paint traditional designs on
their drums.
The community is famous for its basket weaving and intricate beading and
students are taught these skills at the school.
